Despite Google’s numerous warnings that its newest project is still very much in Beta, the word is still out on Google Wave.
At this point, I feel “blue balled” by the new tool because the moment I think it’s great, it fails to follow through on what I would like it to do.
Two words, Google: WYSIWYG Editor.
Especially for those of us who aren’t web-developed enough to use PHP and play around in Google’s API, Google Wave, while still in Beta, is a tease. But like any good tease, I still think I’ll have a chance with it eventually.
Check out the collaboration one can do with Google Wave and a video camera. This comes from Gizmodo. I found this on ChrisBrogan.com. It involves “Pulp Fiction” so you know it isn’t for the faint of heart.
Back and forth the industry goes with Google Wave, Chris Keller of the Times of Northwest Indiana decided to give it a go. And a few of us Google Wavers followed along.
During President Obama’s speech where he announced the deployment of 30,000 troops to Afghanistan, the Times was running Google Wave on its blog to get instant user reaction.
